FRONT COVER

HIPS is mostly used for TV front covers. As products are becoming more and more fashionable, demands for various colors other than black are increasing. The coming of higher end larger screen models and with the objective making the TV affordable in every Home, gives rise to a growing need for thin walled mouldings. Development of the gas-assisted injection molding technology, designed majorly to meet this requirement, calls for HIPS resins with high fluidity, thermal stability, impact resistance and ease of mouldability. LGPI has developed HIPS to meet all the above requirements, making it one of the most popular moulding grades in the market.

REAR COVER
For rear covers for TV, HIPS is being used. The main criteria for this application is dimensional stability and high Flow length moulding particularly for the large screen models. The common moulding defects associated with these moulds are flow lines, stress marks and ejectability. This calls for high-fluidity resins, to complement the Gas Assisted Injection moulding technology, with adequate strength and good mould release. Another feature which is in growing demand is the statutary requirement of Flame retardent property, for higher end models, and for Export. LGPI Flame Retardant HIPS and normal HIPS grades have been approved by domestic and foreign TV manufacturers. We endeavor to continuously enhance our competitiveness in quality and price in order to provide our customers with the best value.
